With years of experience as a recording artist—working in renowned studios like Abbey Road and Vada—and producing tracks featured on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and Radio X, I bring an artist-focused approach to every project.
I’m currently based in my shipping container studio in Manchester, with access to top studios across the North for larger projects.
Composition
As a composer and songwriter, I create music for artists, commercial briefs, and stage productions, bringing a versatile and emotive touch to every project. My work spans short films, theatre, and commercial releases, with a keen focus on storytelling and connection. My work on short film Low Stress Day has been awarded 'Best Sound Track' at multiple international film festivals.
Whether crafting bespoke pieces for briefs or collaborating with artists to shape their sound, I approach every composition with authenticity and intent.
Musician
As a versatile multi-instrumentalist—vocals, guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, percussion, keys, and synth—I’ve performed at renowned venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, The Ritz, and Melkweg Amsterdam, with appearances at major festivals including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Kendal Calling, and 2000trees. My own projects—TRUNC, The Elephant Trees, and Artha—have earned airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, and I’ve also sessioned for artists like Iora, Solow Choir, and Maya Yenn.

Hi, I’m Martha – a versatile multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer, and songwriter with over a decade of experience across a wide range of musical genres. Services I Offer: Music Production Composition Session Instrumentation Audio Cleanup & Editing (including podcasts) My journey began with my own artistic ventures (TRUNC, The Elephant Trees, Artha), and now I dedicate my skills to helping fellow artists and creatives bring their sonic visions to life. Drawing from years as a recording artist—working in renowned studios such as Abbey Road and Vada—and producing tracks that have earned airplay on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and Radio X, I bring a unique, artist-centric perspective to every project. In recent years, I’ve expanded my work to larger-scale projects for screen and stage, where I’ve found immense joy in crafting immersive soundscapes that enhance storytelling. My soundtrack work has been recognised with accolades including Best Soundtrack at the Halicarnassus Film Festival and Best Score at the Crown Point International Film Festival for the independent short Low Stress Day. In lockdown, I founded Incantation, a company designed to support queer and gender-diverse music in Manchester. This led to the creation of Chipped Polish, our queer club night. While I primarily work with queer and gender-diverse artists, my approach is open to collaborations with creatives from all backgrounds. As a neurodivergent artist, I bring a distinctive, detail-oriented perspective to my work, allowing me to connect with music in a deeply personal and immersive way. I believe this approach enhances my collaborations, creating space for diverse voices and innovative sound. Based out of my studio in Manchester, I collaborate with an exceptional network of engineers, producers, videographers, and production managers to meet the needs of any production—big or small.
